Summer Mom Life = Chaos & Comfy Shorts
TL;DR
Summer mom life is messy, busy, and nonstop — so having clothes that actually keep up matters. The right shorts can turn chaotic days into comfortable ones.
- Summer mom life = pure chaos, constant errands, and chasing kids everywhere.
- Laura (founder + mom) is living in the Stay Put Shorts because they don’t ride up or roll down.
- Perfect for drop-offs, grocery runs, park days, beach trips, and general mom chaos.
- Comfortable, supportive, and sanity-saving — no “real shorts” needed.
- If you want shorts that stay put and keep you feeling put together, these are it.
Hey hey — it’s Laura 👋
Founder of Love and Fit… but also full-time mom to Kya and Amara, snack dispenser, sunscreen wrangler, and chaos manager.
So... summer. We love her. But she’s also kind of a hot mess, right?
At any given moment I’m either chasing Kya down the driveway because she forgot her shoes (again), trying to convince Amara that we do in fact need sunscreen, or attempting to pack a beach bag that doesn’t weigh 47 lbs. Honestly, if I had a dollar for every time I said “Where’s your water bottle??” this week… I’d retire.
Anyway. The one thing that’s saving me this summer? My Stay Put Shorts.
I’m not even trying to pitch you here — I just legit live in them. School drop-offs (or camp... or whatever we’re calling it this week), grocery runs, park hangs, backyard bubbles, you name it — I’ve got these babies on.
They don’t ride up, they don’t roll down, and they hold it all together (including my sanity). I can squat, run, mom-dance, pick up a sticky 4 year old, and still feel like a semi-put-together human.
If you’ve got littles, errands, or just want shorts that don’t make you rage-quit by 10am, I’m telling you — these are your new BFF.
Anyway, sending love from my very loud living room (currently filled with glitter slime and baby dolls in bathing suits). We’ve got this, mama. Messy buns and all.
xo,
Laura
P.S. I haven’t worn “real” shorts in like 2 summers and honestly, I’m good with that.
