10 things I wish I had when I was nursing

When it comes to first-time motherhood, there’s a lot of learning involved! And us mamas need all the help we can get when we’re nursing. At least once a day I see a new product that I wish I had when I was nursing. So for all you new or soon-to-be mamas out there here’s a list of 10 things I wish I had when I was nursing!

1. Lactation Cookies

2. Feeding Pillows

Using a feeding or a nursing pillow can make breastfeeding more comfortable. The pillow supports the baby so you don’t have to.

3. Breast Pad

Whether disposable or reusable, breast pads are a real lifesaver. Wearing breast pads will help absorb any accidental milk leakage.

4. Nursing Cover

Gone are the days where you have to carry around a blanket to nurse. Now you have a variety of nursing covers to choose from that will stay put while breastfeeding.

5. Storage Bags

Pumping in advance if you go out or are just producing a lot of milk can help you stay comfortable and make sure your baby has milk when they need it. Storage bags ensure your milk will stay fresh.
